A well-established company in the hospitality and retail space is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. This organization operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and values team players who can adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and stay organized under pressure.
This position will report to either the Accounting Manager or Controller and work alongside a collaborative accounting department of approximately 12 team members. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking direction, executing tasks efficiently, and contributing to a steady and growing operation.
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
Assist with reconciliations and financial reporting
Support AP/AR functions and general ledger maintenance
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Shift gears quickly in response to changing priorities
Bachelor's degree (business-related field preferred)
1-2 years of accounting experience
Hospitality, manufacturing, or production industry experience preferred
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Familiarity with MS Dynamics GP is a plus
